DNHN, are products created and crafted in Montreal from second-hand clothing, scraps, and end-of-roll fabrics. The upcycled materials are used in the making of clothing, caps and hats, as well as a diverse range of accessories. These are unique, ungendered pieces inspired by work uniforms, sports attire, and military aesthetics. Our production is ethical, ecological, and entirely made in Montreal with care.
Our craftsmanship not only reflects the recycling of an industrial textile past but also combines timeless influences with handmade and traditional craftsmanship.
The brand name - denhien - is inspired by the denier, a unit of measurement used in the textile industry to weigh yarn. The idea of unity and yarn is reflected in our design. We emphasize unique pieces that follow the same thread: revaluing existing clothing pieces by creatively reworking them to give them a new lease of life and leave our mark on them. The acronym for denhien - DNHN - represents the values of our company: Diversity - Nuances - Human - Native.
