You may win - Contest

 

1. CONTEST AND CONTEST DURATION

The "You may win" contest (hereinafter the "Contest") is organized by BOUTIQUE, MODE, ART & DESIGN (hereinafter the "Organizer"). The contest begins on August 27, 2023, at 8:00 PM (ET) (hereinafter the "Contest Opening Date") and ends no later than September 03, 2023, at 12:00 AM (ET) (hereinafter the "Contest Closing Date").

2. ADMISSIBILITY

2.1The contest is open to residents of Quebec who are 18 years of age or older at the contest opening date, excluding employees of BOUTIQUE, MODE, ART & DESIGN, the organizers' administrators and executives, their subsidiaries, affiliated companies, parent companies, their respective advertising and promotional agencies, suppliers of materials, prizes, and services related to this contest, and any other parties directly involved in the conduct of the contest, as well as their immediate family members and persons with whom they reside.

2.2 Participation is deemed void if it is delayed or if it is illegible, incomplete, contrary to the rules, false, tampered with, or copied from another source.

3. HOW TO PARTICIPATE 

3.1 No purchase necessary. The participant in the "You may win" contest must visit the page https://madshoppe.com/fr/livestream/ or https://madshoppe.com/en/livestream/ ("The Website") and fill out the participation form with first name, last name, and valid email address to subscribe to the BOUTIQUE, MODE, ART & DESIGN newsletter, and add their favorite items from the livestream runway show to their cart. 

3.2 Contest entry restrictions. Only one entry per person is allowed. The use (or attempted use) of multiple names and/or entities associated with BOUTIQUE, MODE, ART & DESIGN to enter the contest will be invalid for the contest, and at the sole and absolute discretion of the contest organizer, may result in disqualification. 

3.3 The only determinant of the time for valid contest entry will be an official clock chosen by the contest organizer.

4. PRIZES 

4.1 There are a total of 400 prizes, including: 

  • Fifteen (15) M.A.D. SHOPPE gift cards worth $50 

  • Twenty-Five (25) M.A.D. SHOPPE gift cards worth $20 

  • Three Hundred Fifty (350) M.A.D. SHOPPE gift cards worth $5 

  • Ten (10) runway show products valued at $60 

4.2 Prize value: The total value of the prizes is estimated at $3,600.

5. DRAW 

5.1 On September 11, 2023 (the "Draw Date"), at M.A.D. Collective offices, at approximately 10:00 AM (ET), Four Hundred (400) eligible participants will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period, in accordance with these Rules. 

5.2 One prize will be awarded to each of the 400 winners from the prize list: Monday, September 11, 2023: 

  • Fifteen (15) M.A.D. SHOPPE gift cards worth $50 

  • Twenty-Five (25) M.A.D. SHOPPE gift cards worth $20 

  • Three Hundred Fifty (350) M.A.D. SHOPPE gift cards worth $5 

  • Ten (10) runway show products valued at $60

5.3 BOUTIQUE, MODE, ART & DESIGN will collect all entries and consolidate them on a single platform. One winner per prize will be randomly selected from all eligible entries. 

5.4 The prize will be awarded by a random draw after validating participants' compliance with these Rules. 

5.5 The odds of winning are proportional to the number of entries received. BOUTIQUE, MODE, ART & DESIGN will send a private email to the winner using the email address provided during contest entry.

6. PRIZE CONDITIONS 

6.1 The offered prize must be accepted as is and is neither exchangeable, refundable, transferable, nor redeemable for cash. 

6.2 No purchase or entry fee is required.

7. PRIZE CLAIM 

7.1 To be declared a winner, the selected participant must comply with the following conditions: They must be contacted by email by the contest organizers within three (3) business days following the draw date. The prize will be delivered to them via the email address used for contest entry. 

7.2 Failure to comply with any of the conditions mentioned above or any other conditions in these Rules will result in the selected participant's disqualification, and the awarded prize will be forfeited. In such case, the contest organizer will proceed with a new draw until a winner is determined, for a maximum of three (3) draws per participation period mentioned in point five (5).

8. GENERAL CONDITIONS 

8.1 Non-compliant participation. The contest organizer reserves the right to disqualify a participant or cancel their participation if they participate or attempt to participate in a manner that is not in accordance with these Rules. Such participant may be reported to the appropriate judicial authorities. The contest organizer's decisions regarding the contest are final and binding, subject to any decisions made by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec (the Quebec Liquor, Racing and Gaming Board) concerning matters within its jurisdiction. 

8.2 Prize replacement or contest modification. BOUTIQUE, MODE, ART & DESIGN reserves the right to replace one or more prizes or any element of them with a prize of approximately the same value and nature or, at its sole discretion, with the cash value of the prize indicated in these Rules. BOUTIQUE, MODE, ART & DESIGN also reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the contest at any time, without prior notice, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec, if required.

8.3 Prize limit. In any case, the contest organizer is not obligated to award more prizes or award a prize in any way other than in accordance with these Rules. 

8.4 Limitation of liability. The contest organizer assumes no responsibility for any problems, malfunctions, technical failures of a network line, online computer system, peripheral phone, software, server, provider, email, browser, or technical malfunction that may occur, including, but not limited to, a transmission or non-transmission problem of a participation form, regardless of the cause. The contest organizer is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by users, equipment, or programs used for the contest or by technical or human error that may occur during the contest, including the processing of participation forms. The contest organizer assumes no responsibility for any errors, omissions, interruptions, losses, defects related to operation or transmission, communication line failure, theft, or destruction or unauthorized access or alteration of participation forms. All participation forms and declaration forms become the property of the contest organizer and will not be returned to participants. The contest organizer reserves the right to destroy all documents related to the contest once the retention period required by law has expired. 

8.5 Verification. Participation is void in case of late, illegible, incomplete, contrary to the rules, false, truncated, or copied entries. 

8.6 Contest application operation. The contest organizer does not guarantee in any way that the platform on which the contest is held or the contest's Internet pages or any linked site will be accessible or operational without interruption

8.7. Contest Proceedings. Any attempt to deliberately damage the application of this contest or any linked site, or to sabotage the legitimate conduct of the contest, constitutes a violation of civil and criminal laws. If such attempts are made, the contest organizer reserves the right to reject the participant's entries and seek remedy under the law. 

8.8. End of Contest Participation. In the event that the computer system is unable to record all contest entries during the contest period, for any reason, including due to verifications by the platform hosting the contest, or if contest participation must end in whole or in part before the end date specified in these rules, the draw may be held, at the discretion of the contest organizer, among the duly recorded entries during the contest period or, if applicable, until the date of the event that ended contest participation. 

8.9. Prize Usage Limitation of Liability. By participating in this contest, any participant selected for a prize releases the contest organizer, any company, corporation, trust, or other legal entity controlled by or associated with them, their advertising and promotional agencies, their employees, agents, and representatives (the "beneficiaries") from any liability for damages they may incur due to the acceptance or use of their prize. 

8.10. Contest Participation Limitation of Liability. By participating or attempting to participate in this contest, any person releases the beneficiaries from any liability for damages they may incur due to their participation or attempted participation in the contest. 

8.11. Communication with Participants. No communication or correspondence will be exchanged with participants in connection with this contest, except in accordance with these rules or at the initiative of the contest organizer. You may also receive additional communications from BOUTIQUE, MODE, ART & DESIGN regarding their products, services, upcoming contests, and promotional offers if you consent to receive such communications on the Contest Website. You can withdraw the consent you provided to receive additional communications at any time, during or after the Contest, by following the unsubscribe instructions available in said communications or by sending an unsubscribe request to hello@madshoppe.com. 

8.12. Personal Information. Personal information collected from participants in connection with this contest will only be used for the administration of this contest. The information is provided to the organizer. No communication, commercial or otherwise, unrelated to this contest will be sent to the participant, unless the participant has otherwise consented. 

8.13. Where to Find the Contest Rules? The contest rules are available on the contest page. 

8.14. Compliance with Contest Rules. All participants agree to comply with the contest rules, which are subject to modification at the sole discretion of BOUTIQUE, MODE, ART & DESIGN, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec, if required. 

8.15. Compliance with Applicable Laws. The contest is void in any jurisdiction where prohibited by law and is subject to all federal, provincial, territorial, and municipal laws and regulations in effect in Canada. 

8.16. RACJ. Any dispute regarding the organization or conduct of an advertising contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for resolution. A dispute regarding the awarding of a prize may only be submitted to the Régie for intervention in an attempt to resolve it. 

8.17. Severability of Paragraphs. If any paragraph of these rules is declared or deemed illegal, unenforceable, or null by a competent court, then that paragraph shall be considered null, but all other unaffected paragraphs shall be applied to the extent permitted by law.
