These shorts are made in a two-tone patchwork of upcycled jeans. Loose-fitted, with an elastic waistband and 4 pockets, this effortless piece can be paired up with 1ER MAI patchwork jeans bomber for a Canadian tuxedo timeless look. The hem features natural shibori detail from the original jeans’ hem and a raw edge layer contrasting with the shorts’ clean finish.

This product is one of a kind and made to order. *PLEASE NOTE: The shorts are one-of-a-kind. Slight color variations are part of the uniqueness. We do our best to pick shades/colors that are as close to the image as possible, however these items are unique and shades/colors are subject to the availability of upcycled material at the time of the order.

1ER MAI

Ysaline Lannes is the owner and designer of 1ER MAI, a streetwear brand launched in 2021. Her brand creates graphic and functional clothing for women, men, and unisex, inspired by workwear and countercultures, designed and made to order in their Mile-End workshop in Montreal. 1ER MAI uses upcycling to create new clothes from used clothes chosen in local thrift stores, as well as unused fabrics from local designers and manufacturers, thus contributing to the Montreal fashion industry. Each garment is designed, cut, and handmade in their workshop according to high-quality standards, ensuring a durable garment and avoiding overproduction.
